MDO @ Faith Alive Church is a great way to prepare your child for school and give parents a day off to run errands or do some self-care. We understand the importance of a child's first impression and want school to be a positive one!
We strive to give children the
best possible environment for learning and fun! Our program for pre-school aged children focuses on spiritual and educational
growth in an age-appropriate classroom where they are given structured learning
activities and play.

MDO @ Faith Alive
2025 - 2026 Season
- FIRST DAY OF MDO: September 2, 2025
- LAST DAY OF MDO: May 14, 2026
- Times: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm
*We will follow the NBISD Calendar for Holidays & bad weather days.
THREE-DAY-A-WEEK-PROGRAM for all students (2yr olds - Pre-K):
- Days: Tuesdays / Wednesdays / Thursdays
- Times: 9:00am - 1:30pm
- Tuition: $290/month
- Registration fee: $160 (non-refundable)
- Supply Fee: $40 (one-time fee)
- We provide a God-centered, hands-on learning experience for children ages 2-4 years old. (Child's age is determined based on their age as of September 1.)
- Child Check-in opens at 9:00am and pickup closes at 1:30 pm. (Only pre-approved adults are permitted to pick up a student.)
- Children bring their own lunch and water bottle with them each day. We will provide a daily snack.
- Stretch & Grow Enrichment program provided weekly.
- Music & Art classes incorporated into daily schedule.
- Monthly chapel for all classes to worship together.
Program Highlights
- All Teachers are CPR certified and have nationwide background checks
- ProCare parent app
- Class Ratios:
- 2 yr olds = 6 children/ 1 teacher
- 3yr olds = 10 children/ 1 teacher
- 4yr olds = 12 children/ 1 teacher
*A child's class is determined by their age as of September 1st.*
Tuition & FEes
Tuition Per child:
- $290 per month for Three-Day MDO Program (2 - 4yr olds)
Supply fee: $40 (only due once a year)
Registration fee: $160 (non-refundable)
Meet our Director
My name is Heather Sowell, and I am the Faith Alive Mother's Day Out Director. I am beyond blessed to be a part of this amazing team and program! I previously worked as a Pre-K teacher in two Mother's Day Out programs. I also have ten years of teaching experience with NBISD. My husband and I have two daughters, Sadie and Saylor. I have a passion for teaching children and sharing the love of Christ. I love developing relationships with the children and their families, where they know I am in their corner!
