our pastors
Pastors Gerard and Rolanda established Faith Alive Church in 2016 with a deep desire to minister life, love, and wholeness to people in New Braunfels and the surrounding area. Their love for people is evident and lives are being changed as a result.
Both have served God since childhood and together graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2001. Gerard's gift to teach, inspire and lead, coupled with Rolanda's gift of worship and passion to equip the saints position them to lead Christ's church to victory in every area of life.
They live in the beautiful Texas Hill Country where all three of their grown children live close by, along with a son and daughter-in-love. They adore spending time with their 4 grandchildren! When they have time to rest you will find them at the beach, walking slow, and enjoying magnificent sunsets.

our ministries
Kids Alive is not just a place for your children to occupy while you are in services. It's a place where we teach them biblical truths that will stay with them as they grow. Our team is equipped to inspire your children to put God first as they lead by example in a safe, clean, and fun atmosphere. Your children will experience a service full of high-energy worship, entertaining games and Bible stories.
Kids Alive Classes are open on Sundays in Suite A.
Children's Pastor: Pastor Rolanda Montenegro
Youth Ministry is all about bringing youth into a greater relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that the most satisfying life is found in one immersed in the things of God. Two of the main elements found in our youth services are Worship and Word. Our students are growing by encountering God in their daily lives by worshipping Him and by learning the absolute truths taught in His word. The world has laid claim on the lives of our children; however, we fully intend to counter the attacks of the enemy by equipping young people with the fulfilling life that only God can provide for them.
LIT Youth Ministry meets every 1st & 3rd Sunday.
Youth will worship in the sanctuary and then be dismissed to Suite A2 for their message & small groups.

Our Abide Women’s Ministry & The Foundation Men's Ministry exist to build and encourage godly relationships within the body. Through regular fellowship events, conferences, and Bible studies we are able to grow together and strengthen each other and as a result, build a stronger community around us.
